Discharging Methods of Horizontal Single Shaft Concrete Mixer

The production of concrete batching plant is inseparable from concrete mixer and we even can say that concrete mixer is the core of the whole concrete batching plant. There are many different kinds of concrete mixers. Forced type concrete mixer is popular to the majority of customers which is frequently used on the construction market.

There are various models of forced type concrete mixers. Each model has its own special style. The usage methods and operation modes of different types are quite diverse. We will introduce the discharging methods of horizontal single shaft forced type concrete mixer in the following passage.

The discharging methods of horizontal single shaft forced type concrete mixer mainly have two kinds. One is mixing cylinder tilting. The other is mixing cylinder side-door. The advantage of tilting method is that the discharging speed can be controlled by human.

When the receiving material tool is full you can make the discharge chute up to stop the discharge. This type is especially suitable for combining with the hand skip car to work. In general, the mixing drum tilting power uses the hydro-cylinder which has good reliability. Accordingly, most small horizontal single shaft concrete mixers adopt this manner.

However, for large or medium size horizontal single shaft forced concrete mixer, due to the cylinder profile size they mainly adopts the side-door structure. Side-door discharging structure is not very complex but the production requirements are very high.

On one hand, the size and the shape of discharging door must be matched with the discharge rectangular hole on side of the mixing drum. On the other hand, the power source must have enough thrust because it will produce a large gate diameter thrust when the mixing blade squeezes the mixing material.

We are specialized in producing and selling various types of construction machinery such as concrete mixers, concrete mixing trucks, all kinds of concrete batching plants, concrete pumps, etc. Welcome to contact us or leave us a message if you have interests.
