What should I do if the mixer engine doesn’t start in the concrete mixing plant?

There are many kinds of faults in the concrete mixing plant, among which the most troublesome is the failure of the main engine. As the main engine is the most important part of the mixing plant, the failure of the main engine directly affects the operation of the mixing plant, so it should be solved as soon as possible to reduce the loss. Now we will explain the reasons why the stirring machine cannot start and the solutions!

Malfunction: press the start button of the concrete mixer on the operating table. The mixer does not start.

Cause analysis:

1. The air compressor is not started or the air supply system pressure is not reached.

2. Check the protection switch of stirring machine and the switch with key on the machine is not connected.

3. The tight switch on the operating table is not reset.

4. The power switch of the main engine of concrete mixing station is not switched on.

5. The main engine stop signal of concrete mixing plant must be reset.

Solution:

1. Check whether the compressed air detection signal (pressure signal greater than 0.4mpa) is sent to PLC, that is, whether I8.0 has signal. If I8.0 is not signal, check whether the air compressor pressure is greater than 0.4mpa. When the pressure is above 0.4mpa, if I8.0 is not signal, check whether the electrical contact pressure gauge is normal or damaged until I8.0 has signal.

2. Check whether the connection signal of the maintenance switch of the stirring machine is sent to PLC.

3. Check whether the tight switch on the operating table is reset.

4. Check whether the power switch of the host is switched on.

5. Check whether the host stop button is reset.

From the above contents, it can be seen that the operators in the concrete mixing plant can not only deal with the mechanical failure in time, but also work carefully. Only in this way can the failure rate of the machinery be reduced and the construction loss be reduced.
